Cooper's Choice Mannochmore 11 Year Old Scotch Whisky

The Cooper's Choice range of single cask whiskies from Scotland's finest distilleries are releases from the Family owned Independent Bottlers; The Vintage Malt Whisky Company. The range is a homage to the passion and skill of the Coopers, the craftsmen, who build the barrels for maturation of Scotch Whisky. The range focuses on the impact of maturation in oak, and includes several obscure and rare wood finishes.

This 11 year old scotch whisky was distilled in 2011 at the Speyside Mannochmore distillery before maturing in select first fill ex-bourbon hogsheads before a significant finish in an ex-Port cask. Prior to bottling the whisky was vatted and proofed back to 51.5%ABV, with no chill-filtration or colour added. 600 bottles were produced.

Nose: Strawberries and caramel notes with ruby port.

Palate: Port wines notes with butterscotch, brown sugar and sweet malt. Redcurrant preserve with spices

Finish: Long lasting with more sweetness and port.
