Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky was established in 1988 by Andrew Symington, who had previously managed the prestigious Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh. In 2002 the firm acquired Edradour distillery from Pernod Ricard, and subsequently moved all of its operations north to the picturesque Perthshire location.

The Bunnahabhain Distillery found on the north east corner of Islay, faces the Paps of Jura over the sound, with some of the most dramtic views in Scotland. The distillery splits its runs approximately 30% to peated spirit and 70% to unpeated. Probably more recognised for non-peated sherry cask releases, but the peated whiskies are some of the best out there.

This single malt whisky is firmly in the non-peated camp, and was distilled in 2012 at the Bunnahabhain Distillery before being placed in a 1st fill Sherry Butt and left to mature for no less than 10 years. It was bottled in 2022 at 63.8% ABV as part of the Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection.

Reminiscent of a Christmas pudding with rich stewed fruits, ginger spice and orange peel notes, alongside toffee and a subtle coffee note.

700ml. 63.8% ABV.
