The Isle of Harris distillery feels like its on the edge of everything. The distillery began production back in 2015, with a vision of building an enterprise that would enhance the community for generations. From humble beginnings, and 10 employees, the distillery now has over 50 staff.
The Hearach single malt scotch whisky is the first whisky release from this special distillery. Encapsulating the Hebridean personality, the whisky is elegant, yet complex and full of character.
The whisky has spent time maturing in a mix of ex-bourbon casks, ex-oloroso and ex-fino sherry butts.

On The Nose
White clover and mixed spices, ginger loaf, vanilla and honeycomb, smoked plums and heather.
On The Palate
Gentle peat smoke, toasted malt, homemade apple sauce, creme brulee, gentle sea breeze salinity, light and elegant.
On The Finish
New leather, lasting soft peat smoke, apple strudel with cinnamon.
