Born from the intrigue of Ale matured in whisky casks, creating beers much loved by fans of malt whisky.Innis & Gunn Vanishing Point 09 is the ninth release in the brewery’s flagship barrel‑aged stout series, and one of its most refined expressions to date. This limited release imperial stout is matured exclusively in ex‑grain whisky casks from Scotland’s historic Strathclyde Grain Distillery, delivering exceptional smoothness, depth and balance.
Grain whisky casks bring a softer, silkier oak influence than traditional malt whisky barrels, allowing Vanishing Point 09 to showcase luxurious texture and seamless integration. Rich, roasted malt character is layered with chocolate, coffee, coconut and gentle oak spice, creating a powerful yet polished stout designed for slow enjoyment.
