Iniquity Talamara Australian Single Malt Whisky
700ml | 40% ABV
A gentle touch of smoke, with South Australian roots.
There’s something rather fitting about an Australian whisky with a faint suggestion of the backyard barbecue. Talamara brings that familiar savoury character together with soft fruit, marzipan and malt, making for an inviting introduction to Iniquity’s lightly peated style.
Its name comes from the original Talamara homestead at Parawa, on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, where Tin Shed sources the peat used in this whisky. The smoke is subtle, woven through the spirit and leaving plenty of room for the fruit and cask influence to shine.
Matured for four years in Shiraz casks before finishing in a combination of port and sherry casks, predominantly American oak, Talamara balances berry sweetness with savoury depth. Bottled at an approachable 40% ABV, it offers plenty to explore at an unhurried pace.

How to enjoy
Pour a little neat and give it time to open up. This is one to settle into as the evening cools, preferably with good company and nowhere particular to be.
