Iniquity Lazy Daze Australian Single Malt Whisky
A little South Australian sunshine in your glass.
Who says single malt needs cold weather and a fireplace? Lazy Daze makes a compelling case for pulling up a chair on the verandah instead.
Created by Tin Shed Distilling Co., Lazy Daze began with a simple challenge: make a whisky suited to warmer days, comfortable with ice or a mixer, yet sufficiently rewarding to enjoy neat. Originally released to the distillery’s Den members, its popularity earned it a place in the core range.
Matured for three years, the whisky combines bourbon casks (78%), Shiraz (15%), peated tawny (3.5%) and apera (3.5%). Bourbon leads the fruit-forward style, with the other components adding depth and a gentle smoky accent.
700ml | 40% ABV
Tasting notes
Adapted from the distillery’s notes.
Nose: Bright green apple and tropical pineapple, with passionfruit, vanilla and fresh leather.
Palate: Generous fruit character, bringing citrus, banana and passionfruit together.
Finish: Long-lasting fruit and leather tones, settling into vanilla and spiced dried fruit.
How to enjoy
Start neat, then explore it over ice.
For Tin Shed’s suggested summer serve, add lemonade, a dash of orange bitters and an orange slice.
An easygoing name, with plenty going on in the glass.
