Holyrood Distillery Embra Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Holyrood Distillery was established in 2019 in the centre of Edinburgh’s historic old town with a focus on an innovative approach to distilling, inspired by Edinburgh’s rich brewing history. The first single malt Scotch Whisky distillery in the Scottish capital since 1925 housed in historic 180 year old railway good sheds.

Holyrood Distillery Embra Single Malt Scotch Whisky is meticulously crafted to deliver a rich and complex dram. Lightly peated, from it's triple cask maturation recipe of first fill ex-bourbon, ex-peated Islay quarter casks and virgin american oak. The result is a whisky brimming with lemon zest, smooth earthy highland smoke, dark chocolate mousse. Distilled and matured in the grand Scottish capital city of Edinburgh, Embra offers a smooth, medium-long finish that reflects the heritage and skill behind its creation.
