Corowa Distilling Mad Dog Morgan Single Malt Whisky

They tend to do things a little differently at Corowa distillery. One of these quirks is naming their Australian Whisky releases after local 'characters'

Dan Mad Dog Morgan was a ruthless renegade that long ago roamed the Corowa region. Mad Dog Morgan wasn't your typical bushranger and this isn't your typical whisky. 

The Mad Dog Morgan single malt Australian whisky from Corowa Distillery is matured solely in American Oak, ex-Muscat casks from a locally sourced Australian wine region.

Fair to say it's likely the ex-muscat casks were re-charred prior to filling, as the whisky is oaky and spicey in style with honey, orange, burnt caramel and raisins.
