Bunny fans beware, there is little to no peat in this one unlike many of the distillery's Islay counterparts, and indeed unlike many of the distillery releases (Bunny itself only ramped up the Peat in the 1990's).
Bunnahabhain on the north-east corner of the isle of Islay has quietly gone about their business for the last 140 odd years. In that time they have changed their style a few times, and currently about 20% of the malt they produce is heavily peated.
This malt is delightfully nutty with peaches and cream! Yum. More of the traditional Bunnahabhain style of Single Malt Whisky.
Cadenhead have been producing their range of 'small batch' releases for some time now. They are all from a maximum of 4 casks. However Cadenhead recently made the call to discontinue their 'Small Batch' line of malts, and as of right now we don't know what will follow. You never know. This bottle may become a piece of important history!
700mL, 58.9% ABV with no artificial coloring or chill filtration.
