Cadenhead Tamnavulin 14 Year Old Scotch whisky

Wm Cadenhead’s Ltd is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842 but since 1972 they have been based in Campbeltown.

Cadenhead’s specialise in bottling single cask or small batch whisky, gin, rum, cognac, and other spirits from across all of Scotland and the rest of the world.

Cadenhead’s Original Collection Range are curious vattings bottled at 46% ABV.

Full maturation in ex-bourbon casks have given this 14 year old bottling of Tamnavulin whisky by Cadenheads a banana and caramel sauce profile. Lovely, fruity and long.

Official notes read, “Nose of stone fruits, syrup , pineapple, peach, grapefruit. Flavour of lemon zest, banana fritter, caramel sauce, creamy with a suitable tanginess. Finish of fermented fruits, flat cola, dime bars, bourbon biscuit.”
