Thirty years of maturation have given The Glenturret 30 Years Old a depth and complexity that sets it apart within the distillery's range. As the oldest whisky in The Glenturret's 2025 release, it offers a rare opportunity to experience how the distillery's character develops over three decades in oak.

Matured in European oak casks, the whisky brings together rich fruit, wood spice and gentle oak with lighter touches of citrus and vanilla. The influence of the oak is clear, but it remains balanced by the fruit and sweetness of the underlying spirit.

Rich dried fruit and apple lead into ginger cake, citrus and creamy vanilla, with nutmeg adding gentle spice. As the whisky develops, wood spices become more apparent, while sweeter dried fruits move towards darker fruit and vibrant ginger. Light oak remains through the finish.

At 40.2% ABV, The Glenturret 30 Years Old is a whisky to take your time with. Its complexity comes not from intensity, but from the layers that have developed gradually through three decades of maturation.

Part of The Glenturret's Extremely Scarce range, the 2025 release is limited to just 50 bottles worldwide. Our Australian allocation is limited to two bottles, making this one of the rarest expressions to reach the Select Scotch Whisky collection.

The Story of The Glenturret

The Glenturret's story dates back to 1763, making it Scotland's oldest working distillery. Still located in the picturesque Hosh near Crieff in Perthshire, the distillery continues to use traditional, hands on methods of production that have remained central to its character for generations.

In 2019, The Glenturret entered a new chapter following its acquisition by Lalique Group and its partners. Whisky Maker Bob Dalgarno joined the distillery that same year, bringing a fresh focus to the character of the spirit, cask selection and the development of its single malt range.

Today, The Glenturret combines that long history with a considered approach to modern whisky making, guided by its core values of Provenance, Prowess and Passion.
