Glentauchers 14 year old North Star Scotch Whisky

North Star Spirits are a Glasgow based independent bottler priding themselves on bottling only the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Scotch Whiskies. North Star specialise in artisan single cask whisky from all of Scotlands great Whisky regions. All North Star releases are small batch with no chill filtration and bottled at cask strength.

This single malt release of an 14 year old Glentauchers scotch whisky was bottled in November 2022 for the 21st series release from North Star. Only 708 bottles were released, all matured in a single ex-oloroso sherry butt.

Expect a nose of brand new tupperware filled with rich tea-biscuits and Victoria sponge. The palate is full of leather and sherry, hitting your taste buds. A thick, long, dry and very tasty finish.
