Braeval 13 Year Old 2009 North Star Scotch Whisky

North Star Spirits are a Glasgow based independent bottler priding themselves on bottling only the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Scotch Whiskies. North Star specialise in artisan single cask whisky from all of Scotlands great Whisky regions. All North Star releases are small batch with no chill filtration and bottled at cask strength.

Bottled by North Star in March 2022 for their series 18 releases comes this 13 year old Braeval single malt scotch whisky from a single oloroso sherry butt. A small outturn for a butt, producing only 341 bottles at natural cask strength of 55% ABV.

 Nose: Airfix glue, peach stones & sweet almonds

Palate: Macaroon & candied lemon rind

Finish: Milk Chocolate covered honeycomb
