Ardnamurchan AD/09.22 Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
A relative new-comer (and hidden gem) is Ardnamurchan distillery. Founded by Adelphi Selection (Independent Bottlers) in 2014 on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, the most westerly peninsula on the British mainland; the distillery produces both peated and unpeated styles. Impressively, Ardnamurchan distillery convincingly markets itself as the 'greenest' distillery in Scotland.
AD/09.22 Cask strength release is from a batch of 18,000 bottles from Ardnamurchan distillery. A QR code on the back label will provide you with all the information you could possibly want on your bottle. Including batch size, bottling date and who bottled the whisky! It's about full transparency from field to bottle.
The AD/09.22 release is from roughly 75% peated spirit, matured in mostly ex-bourbon casks.
