Deanston 2000 21 Year Old Organic Fino Cask Scotch Whisky

Deanston is one of the few remaining distilleries in Scotland that does not utilise any computers or technological shortcuts in its production process, is organic certified (by the Organic Food Federation) and is energy self-sufficient thanks to its onsite hydro-power generation (mainly thanks to its past life as a cotton mill).

Deanston 2000 21 Year Old Fino cask matured single malt Organic scotch whisky is a Limited Edition whisky release from Deanston Distillery, matured for 21 years in ex-Fino Sherry casks. This organic release is far from your average dram.  Certified organic from start to finish by the Organic Food Federation and bottled at cask strength, this Limited Edition whisky has notes of shortbread, chocolate cherries and a shake of cinnamon.

Nose: “Vibrant notes of juicy raisins and sweet malt.  Aromas of shortbread and strawberry jam”

Palate: "Espresso, chocolate cherries and oak infused honey. A subtle spin on our signature waxy character"

Finish: "Candied fruit with a shake of cinnamon and chocolate creaminess"
