The name Mac-Talla, meaning “echo” in Scottish Gaelic, reflects the Morrison family's deep-rooted connection to the island of Islay. Terra, Latin for “earth,” pays tribute to the vital role of peat in shaping the distinctive smoky character of Islay whiskies.
