The Kurayoshi Pure Malt 'Sherry Cask' Japanese Whisky

Kurayoshi Pure Malt Sherry Cask Whisky is one of the first Japanese small-scale craft (or Ji) whiskies to be released in the Australian marketplace.

Created in the shadow of Mt Daisen, at the Matsui Distillery, Kurayoshi Malt Whisky benefits from the mountain’s crystal clear waters and the distillery’s 108 years of production experience to craft a superb Japanese malt whisky.

Apparently most Japanese Malt Whisky contains some Scotch Malt Whisky in them, and you would swear with this one it's a Speyside Single Malt!

Aged for more than 3 years in ex-sherry barrels, Kurayoshi Sherry Cask has a notes of lemon tart and strawberry.
