The Glenturret 10 Year Old Peat Smoked 2023 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Glenturret claim to be Scotlands Oldest Distillery. Time muddies water of course, particularly when marketers are splashing around. Who was first is irrelevant to what tastes the best, and certainly the last 15-20 years at The Glenturret has seen a marked increase in quality of production.

The Glenturret 2023 release 10 Year Old Peat Smoked scotch whisky is matured in a mix of both first fill and second fill European and American oak casks.

Expect dark smoke from a newly lit fire, sweet citrus and vanilla. Salted caramel leads into smoky wood spices which drift into the distance.
