The Glenturret 10 Year Old Peat Smoked 2022 Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Glenturret claim to be Scotlands Oldest Distillery. Time muddies water of course, particularly when marketers are splashing around. Who was first is irrelevant to what tastes the best, and certainly the last 15-20 years at The Glenturret has seen a marked increase in quality of production.

This 2022 Release of the Glenturret 10 Year Old Peat Smoked Scotch Whisky has continued the current trend at The Glenturret of picking up some impressive awards!

The Whisky itself is matured in a mix of both first fill and second fill European and American oak casks.

Expect sweet vanilla and fresh citrus fruits. The peat has dialed back to smoldering campfire levels, with subtle sweetness and lemon sherbet. Drying embers...softly glowing.
