Dalwhinnie 14 year old North Star Scotch Whisky

North Star Spirits are a Glasgow based independent bottler priding themselves on bottling only the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Scotch Whiskies. North Star specialise in artisan single cask whisky from all of Scotlands great Whisky regions. All North Star releases are small batch with no chill filtration and bottled at cask strength.

This single malt release of an 14 year old Dalwhinnie scotch whisky was bottled in November2022 for the 21st series release from North Star. Only 252 bottles were released, all initially matured in a refill hogshead before being finished in a refill Oloroso hosghead.

Expect a nose of toasted green peppercorns and salted nuts with a rich palate of caramelised apricots, porridge, cloves, custard, milk chocolate and popcorn.
