A core expression with a cult following, Longrow Peated is Springbank Distillery’s heavily peated, double‑distilled single malt — a style first trialled in 1973 and now one of Campbeltown’s most distinctive whiskies. Created as a mainland alternative to the classic Islay profile, Longrow delivers deep, earthy smoke while retaining the oily texture, maritime edge and old‑school character that define Springbank.

Matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks, this whisky balances robust peat with sweetness, coastal salinity and that unmistakable Springbank weight. As with all Springbank spirits, every stage - malting, distillation, maturation and bottling - is carried out on-site in Campbeltown, making Longrow one of the few truly handmade Scotch whiskies still produced today.

Nose:

Very creamy, vanilla custard. The smoke develops gradually, rather than overpowering the other aromas present. Toasted marshmallows, herbs and rich fruits appear over time.

Palate:

Incredibly well balanced; rich and creamy with a slight medicinal hint. The smoke is always present, washing over the palate in waves, like the soft billows of smoke from the Kiln.

Finish: 

The gentle smoke lingers and lingers leaving you yearning for more.
