This 11-year-old Highland single malt was distilled at Tomatin in 2013. After a primary maturation in American oak, it was transferred to an Oloroso sherry cask to develop its deep, nutty, and spicy character. The "Golden Cut" selection process has ensured that the sherry influence perfectly complements the distillery’s fruity and approachable house style.

"The Golden Cut Collection" is a premium series within The Coopers Choice range, curated to showcase small batches and single casks where the spirit and the wood have reached a point of perfect harmony. The name refers to the "heart of the run," the most desirable portion of the distillation, and the series is designed to deliver a bold, honest, and unadulterated experience. Every bottling in this collection is presented at a robust 50% ABV, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring, ensuring the true character of the cask remains intact.

The nose is greeted by festive spices, candied nuts, and robust oak.

The palate delivers complex layers of fruit cake, poached orchard fruits, and nut brittle.

The finish provides a lingering sweetness with a distinct sherried oak and spiced fruit presence.

Limited to a release of 342 bottles, this 2013 vintage is a classic example of Highland malt meeting traditional Spanish oak.
