Blair Athol 2006 14 year old North Star Scotch Whisky

North Star Spirits are a Glasgow based independent bottler priding themselves on bottling only the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Scotch Whiskies. North Star specialise in artisan single cask whisky from all of Scotlands great Whisky regions. All North Star releases are small batch with no chill filtration and bottled at cask strength.

This single cask bottling of 14 year old Blair Athol was bottled in July 2021 for the 16th series release from North Star. The malt was matured in a single refill hogshead before a long finish for 19 months in an ex-mescal cask producing 196 bottles.

Expect cinnamon, fresh melon and hints of white pepper.
