Auchentoshan 11 year old Cadenhead Scotch whisky
Wm Cadenhead’s Ltd is Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, founded in 1842 but since 1972 they have been based in Campbeltown.
Cadenhead’s specialise in bottling single cask or small batch whisky, gin, rum, cognac, and other spirits from across all of Scotland and the rest of the world.
Cadenhead’s Original Collection Range are curious vattings bottled at 46% ABV.This 11 year old from the Lowland Auchentoshan distillery has the elegance and complexity from the distilleries triple distillation process, creating a crisp and bright malt with a dried barley malt character, subtle fruity character and a dry and long finish.
The official notes read: "Apple sours, peaches and cream, apricots and soft mint. Butterscotch, cream cheese frosting, summer fruits. Toffee, chewy meringue, very tropical”.
