Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year Old Batch 2 Scotch Whisky

The Ardbeg distillery, the untamed spirit of Islay, lies on the most southerly part of Islay on the rugged shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Ardbeg is loved the world over for it's powerful peaty malts, with bright fresh sea spray. 

The Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 year old Scotch whisky (pronounced Tri-van) is named after a picturesque beach not far from the distillery. Aged for a minimum of 19 years old, this 2nd batch release was matured in a mix of American oak and Olorosso Sherry casks.

Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 year old is an incredibly well balanced whisky with an intensely salty mouthfeel shifting into soothing tell-tale Ardbeg medicinal notes, followed by salted peanut brittle, smoked pineapple and lime juice. Waves of liquorice lap over the palate, before rich fudge, birch tar and peat smoke crash down wildly. This is a dram that coaxes you in, and all assumptions are best left behind. 

Expect Fresh lime, roasted tea leaves and smoked pineapple.

46.2% ABV, 700mL
