September 2026 Promotional Giveaway
Win a Finn Thomson Longmorn 34 Year Old
This September, every eligible purchase from Select Scotch Whisky earns entries into the draw for a 700 mL Finn Thomson Longmorn 1991, 34 Year Old, finished in a Ximénez-Spínola PX sherry cask and bottled at 53.7% ABV.
Promotion period: 12:00 pm (midday) ACST on Friday 4 September 2026 to 11:59 pm ACST on Wednesday 30 September 2026. Purchases made before the start time do not qualify.
How entries work
· Receive 1 entry for each whole $1 of the qualifying subtotal spent on eligible physical products other than Finn Thomson Whisky.
· Receive 3 entries total for each whole $1 of the qualifying subtotal spent on Finn Thomson Whisky products.
· Shipping and delivery charges, and the purchase price of gift cards, do not earn entries.
· Physical products paid for with a previously issued gift card still qualify. No separate entry form is required.
Cents are disregarded separately for the two product categories. For example, $25.90 of other eligible physical products plus $100.75 of Finn Thomson Whisky products earns 25 + 300 = 325 entries.
The prize
One winner will receive one 700 mL Finn Thomson Whisky Longmorn 1991, 34 Year Old, with a retail value of $849.99 AUD including GST. The prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, and will be delivered only in accordance with applicable alcohol-delivery and age-verification requirements.
A mystery sample with each qualifying order
Each qualifying order containing at least one physical product and accepted during the Promotion Period will also include one complimentary mystery whisky sample, provided the order is delivered to an address to which we may lawfully supply liquor. The sample is a guaranteed gift with purchase, not a chance-based prize. Its identity is selected by Select Scotch Whisky, is subject to availability, has no cash value and cannot be exchanged. If required, we may substitute another compliant whisky sample.
Who can enter
The promotion is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older, excluding residents of the Northern Territory. Employees of the Promoter and people directly involved in conducting the promotion, and their immediate families, are not eligible. Full eligibility rules appear in the terms below.

Full Terms and Conditions
Select Scotch Whisky September 2026 Promotion
1. Promoter
The promoter is SELECT SCOTCH WHISKY PTY LTD (ABN 76 659 510 666), trading as Select Scotch Whisky, of 31 Dunn Street, Bridgewater SA 5155, Australia (the Promoter). South Australian Liquor Licence No. 57709207.
2. Acceptance of these terms
Information about how to enter and the prize forms part of these terms. By participating, an entrant accepts these terms. If promotional material conflicts with these terms, these terms prevail to the extent permitted by law.
3. Promotion Period
The promotion starts at 12:00 pm (midday) ACST on Friday 4 September 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm ACST on Wednesday 30 September 2026 (the Promotion Period). Orders placed before the start time or after the closing time do not qualify. The Promoter's order system timestamp is the official record of time.
4. Eligibility
Entry is open only to natural persons who are Australian residents aged 18 years or older at the time of purchase, excluding residents of the Northern Territory.
Employees and officers of the Promoter, people directly involved in conducting the promotion, and their immediate families are ineligible. Immediate family means spouse or domestic partner, parent, step-parent, child, step-child or sibling, whether or not they live at the same address.
The Promoter may require reasonable proof of age, identity, Australian residence, eligible State or Territory residence, and order ownership. A person who cannot provide satisfactory proof is ineligible.
5. How to enter
During the Promotion Period, an eligible person must place an accepted retail order directly with the Promoter through its online store or another direct retail sales channel operated by the Promoter, and the order must contain at least one qualifying physical product.
Entry is automatic. No separate entry form, code or entry fee is required. Multiple entries are permitted and there is no maximum number of entries, subject to these terms.
6. Qualifying products and excluded amounts
A qualifying physical product is a physical retail product sold by the Promoter, including whisky, other packaged beverages, glassware and merchandise. Gift cards, shipping charges, delivery charges, complimentary items and any other non-product charge are excluded.
The qualifying subtotal is the price charged for qualifying physical products after discounts, including GST, and before shipping or delivery charges. Redeeming a previously issued gift card as payment does not make an otherwise qualifying physical product ineligible. The purchase price of a new gift card does not qualify.
Products must be sold at the Promoter's normal or prevailing retail price. No part of the product price is a separate charge for entry.
7. Entry calculation
For each eligible order, the Promoter will calculate:
· a. one entry for each whole Australian dollar of the qualifying subtotal for physical products other than Finn Thomson Whisky products; plus
· b. three entries total for each whole Australian dollar of the qualifying subtotal for Finn Thomson Whisky products.
Cents are disregarded separately for each of the two subtotals. The Finn Thomson rate is three entries total per whole dollar; it is not one standard entry plus three additional entries.
Example: $25.90 of other qualifying physical products plus $100.75 of Finn Thomson Whisky products produces 25 + 300 = 325 entries.
8. Cancelled, refunded, reversed or invalid orders
An order or item cancelled, refunded, charged back, reversed, fraudulent or otherwise invalid before the draw does not qualify. A partial cancellation or refund before the draw will cause the entry allocation to be recalculated using the remaining qualifying products.
Nothing in these terms limits any non-excludable right or remedy, including under the Australian Consumer Law. The Promoter will not deny a lawful refund or remedy merely because the purchase generated entries.
9. Complimentary mystery sample
Each accepted order placed during the Promotion Period that contains at least one qualifying physical product will include one complimentary mystery whisky sample, provided the order is delivered to an address to which the Promoter may lawfully supply liquor.
The sample is a guaranteed gift with purchase and is not a prize or additional chance-based benefit. Its identity is selected by the Promoter in its discretion, is subject to availability, has no cash value and cannot be exchanged. The Promoter may substitute another compliant whisky sample where reasonably necessary.
The sample will be supplied and delivered only in accordance with applicable liquor, food-labelling, packaging, measurement and adult-delivery requirements. If the Promoter cannot lawfully include a sample for a particular order or destination, no cash or other alternative is payable.
10. Prize
There is one prize: one 700 mL Finn Thomson Whisky Longmorn 1991, 34 Year Old, finished in a Ximénez-Spínola PX sherry cask and bottled at 53.7% ABV. Its retail value is $849.99 AUD including GST.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be exchanged and is not redeemable for cash. These restrictions do not limit any non-excludable consumer right.
If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter will first seek the winner's written agreement to a substitute prize of equal or greater value. If agreement cannot be obtained after reasonable efforts, any substitution will occur only to the extent permitted by applicable law and any required regulator direction or approval.
11. Draw
The Promoter will conduct one random electronic draw at 12:00 pm (midday) ACST on Friday 2 October 2026 at 31 Dunn Street, Bridgewater SA 5155, Australia. The draw is not open to the public.
Each valid entry has an equal chance of selection. An entrant's overall chance therefore increases with the number of valid entries allocated under clause 7. The odds of winning depend on the total number of valid entries.
No reserve winner will be pre-drawn. The Promoter will retain an auditable record of the entrant pool, entry calculations, draw method, timestamp and selected entry.
12. Validation and invalid selected entry
The selected entrant is provisional until the Promoter verifies compliance with these terms. If the selected entry is invalid or the selected entrant is ineligible, the Promoter will document the reason and conduct a separate random second draw from the remaining valid entries as soon as reasonably practicable. The same verification, notification, publication and delivery rules will apply to the replacement winner.
13. Winner notification and publication
The Promoter will notify the verified winner in writing using the contact details in the relevant customer order or account within seven days after the draw. No separate claim form is required, but the winner must reasonably assist with eligibility, age, identity and lawful-delivery checks.
The verified winner's first initial, surname and postcode will be published as an update on the original promotion blog page by 5:00 pm ACST on Monday 5 October 2026 and will remain published for at least seven days. The Promoter may also announce the result by email to subscribers.
The Promoter will not publish a fuller name, photograph, testimonial or winner story without the winner's separate consent.
14. Prize delivery
The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to arrange lawful delivery using the winner's customer and order details. The prize will be transferred or dispatched within 28 days after the original draw, subject to verification and the winner or nominated adult satisfying all lawful age and identity checks on delivery.
The prize will be delivered only to an Australian address outside the Northern Territory to which the Promoter may lawfully supply liquor. The Promoter will pay standard delivery costs for the prize.
15. Unclaimed or undeliverable prize
If, despite reasonable efforts, the Promoter cannot identify, contact or verify the winner, or cannot lawfully deliver the prize, the Promoter will hold the prize for three months after the original draw.
If the prize remains unclaimed or undeliverable at the end of that period, the Promoter will conduct and document a new random draw from the remaining valid entries at 12:00 pm (midday) ACST on Friday 8 January 2027 at 31 Dunn Street, Bridgewater SA 5155, Australia.
The replacement winner will be notified in writing within seven days. Their first initial, surname and postcode will be published on the original promotion blog page by 5:00 pm ACST on Monday 11 January 2027 and remain published for at least seven days. The Promoter will apply the same verification and delivery process, and dispatch or transfer the prize within 28 days after the new draw, subject to verification and lawful delivery.
16. Integrity, disruption and changes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter may take reasonable steps necessary to protect the integrity, security and lawful operation of the promotion, including rejecting entries affected by fraud, tampering or material system error.
The Promoter has taken reasonable care and made good-faith efforts to ensure these terms and all promotional material are accurate, consistent and compliant with applicable law.
If an inadvertent clerical, typographical, administrative or technical error is identified before commencement, the Promoter may correct it before the promotion begins.
After commencement, these terms will not be amended and the promotion will not be cancelled or withdrawn without any prior written approval required by the Western Australian Gaming and Wagering Commission and compliance with all other applicable laws. Any correction of an inadvertent error after commencement will be made only to the extent permitted by law and after obtaining any required regulatory approval.
Any approved material change or correction will be published promptly and, where reasonably necessary, communicated to affected entrants. A correction will not be used to retrospectively invalidate a valid entry, materially reduce an entrant’s rights or reduce the value of the prize, except where required by law.
Nothing in this clause limits any non-excludable right or excuses the Promoter from complying with applicable law.
17. Privacy
The Promoter will use entrant information to administer the promotion, calculate and validate entries, conduct and audit the draw, contact and verify the winner, arrange delivery, publish the limited winner details described in clause 13, respond to regulators and comply with law.
Automatic entry does not constitute consent to receive new marketing. Marketing communications will be sent only where the Promoter has the required consent or another lawful basis, and will include a functional unsubscribe facility.
The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy law and its published privacy policy. Entrants may contact the Promoter using the contact details published on its website about access, correction or privacy concerns.
18. Records
The Promoter will retain the final terms, promotional material, qualifying-order and entry calculations, exclusions and adjustments, draw evidence, eligibility checks, communications, publication evidence, delivery evidence and any redraw record for at least five years after the promotion is finalised, subject to applicable privacy, security and record-retention obligations.
19. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for delay, loss or damage caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except to the extent caused or contributed to by the Promoter's negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct. This clause does not permit the Promoter to amend, cancel or withdraw the promotion contrary to clause 16.
20. Decisions and enquiries
The Promoter's reasonable decisions about eligibility, entry calculations, validation and the draw are final, subject to applicable law and regulator oversight. Entrants may direct promotion enquiries or disputes to the Promoter using the contact details published on its website.
