Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky was established in 1988 by Andrew Symington, who had previously managed the prestigious Prestonfield House Hotel in Edinburgh. In 2002 the firm acquired Edradour distillery from Pernod Ricard, and subsequently moved all of its operations north to the picturesque Perthshire location.

Linkwood distillery, owned by Diageo and found in the Speyside region of Scotland is firmly in the 'lighter' style of malt. After decent maturation though this lightness is met with fantastic mouthfeel and texture, that makes Linkwood a distillery well sought after by malt whisky fans.

This single malt whisky was distilled in 2006 at the Linkwood distillery before being placed in a single ex Bourbon Hogshead and left to mature for 13 years. It was then placed in a fresh ex sherry butt and finished for 10 months. In 2020 it was bottled at 58.1% abv as part of the Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection. Only 699 bottles were produced.

Expect a citrus and cereal notes with dried fruits and toffeed character.

700ml. 58.1% ABV.
